So I've been trying to publish my website and I keep receiving this error. I've tried deactivating my muse and signing back into muse incase it was a problem with my sign in information but I still continue to receive this "Unknown Adobe Business Catalyst error".  I've attached a photo. Thanks in advance for any help with the issue.

Please try going to Preferences (CMD+K on Mac, Ctrl+K on Windows) and making sure the correct Adobe ID is logged in under "Publish."

I too am having the same problem. I have tried deactivating/reactivating, and checked my user ID, but still it continues. This really is quite unhelpful, I need to publish now.

I am having the same problem as well and have tried both deactivating and reactiving my account as well as checking the Adobe ID in preferences. I recently upgraded muse last week and have only been having this error since then.

    Hello,

Stoney-Ridge, NaamanH and Zoe@zeuk, could you please confirm if you get exactly the same error (which is mentioned in the screenshot above) while Publishing the website or a different error message?

And at what point do you get the error?

Is it when you click on File>Publish and it tries to sign-in and gives you the error message? Or after it is signed in and then you click on Publish in the window that comes up.

    Regards,

    Sachin

    Hi Sachin -

I was getting exactly the same error message as the screen shot at the top of this discussion.

I did, however try publishing again yesterday and was able to update my site without receiving an error message. I'm not sure if there was maybe a problem with Catalyst that day as everything seems okay again now.

    Cheers

Great to hear that Zoe. Must have been a temporary glitch.

Hope the issue has been resolved for other users as well.

    Regards,

    Sachin

I have this exact problem now, which is really frustrating. I need to publish an update to our website, but all I get is this Status 0, 0 error. Publishing worked fine earlier today. I have tried deactivating and I have checked that the publishing Adobe ID is correct.

I can log in via FTP and directly into the business catalyst website without any problems, so I can't understand why there should be any network issues either.

Any solution to this, or will I just have to wait until it maybe, sometime today, tomorrow, next week, who knows, this will automatically resolve itself?

I am having the same issue . . how did you resolve yours?

(was working fine . . added a self running slide show on home page  . . then not able to publish .. geting same Status: 0,0 error and appears "grayed out screen" cycling on "Signing in to Adobe catlyst" . . . hope this is a silly easy fix  . . frustrationg . . also)

NOTE: I can "preview sute in browser" so it does work but just not "publish" . . .

I am new to Muse but go way back to hand coding even to DBase and Net Objects  . . request . . can anyone tell me if ther is a "position" lock so an element can ne pinned so has to not move when doing housework on images??? . . or did I just miss the instrructions in a help area ???

    Hi, rimcorp,

I didn't find a fix for it, but the problem solved itself after about a day or so. Hope this will happen in your case too :-)

This error usually occurs when Muse is not able to sign in to the Business catalyst account. Most common reasons are -

    1. There is an outage on the Bc servers, you can always double check that here, http://status.businesscatalyst.com/

    2. There is a system/network firewall blocking the connection. Please check with your IT if you are in a corporate environment or check the firewall or anti-virus settings.

If you still face this issue there could be something more specific about it, so in that case I will recommend that you contact the support using this link, http://helpx.adobe.com/contact/
