Calling a function from sub-app

Hello,

I have my main AIR application that load another swf into a Window. All works correctly and i can call the functions present on my sub app without any problem. But i need to call a function that is present in my main app from my sub app. Is this possible?

Basically i need to call a function that mus call the close() event handler present into my main app.

You can dispatch an Event from subApp to mainApp, mainApp listens this event on subApp and then call close().

I would... but unlucky my window doesn't answer to my events... see post http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1041290?tstart=0
Actually i've resolved passing the window object to the sub app and call the close function from it but i don't like this solution..
