Download not possible dur to missing administration rights

Hi, I want to download Adobe Digital Editions 1.7.2, However, it does'nt work, I cannot log in with administration rights. I DO have them, though. This is my private PC and nobody else has the passord... What can I do?

    I think your system's security settings are preventing you from doing the

    download.  This is masked by the inaccurate message you're getting that

    tells you admin rights are required.  Some folks with Windows 7 found that

    they had to set their firewall to allow downloads from the ADE site.  They

    also found that if they did, sometimes Windows 7 would not allow that to

    happen anyway, because other settings inside Windows 7 counteracted the

    ones the users set.....  Microsoft - are you listening?
