HTML5 Capabilities

Jul 23, 2012 5:57 AM

I'm currently using Captivate 5 and I develop interactive training videos in Flash. I would like to know if anyone here uses features like click box, input text boxes with success in HTML5. I'd also like to know if right click works.

I'd like to get away from Flash for a new project I am starting but I need these features to carry forward.

I don't think right clicks work by default (you may be able to hack yourself a solution if you can code javascript, but it's probably not worth it). Click boxes do work, but I haven't tested out input text boxes.

Right click was an issue previously in Captivate because SWF output required a JavaScript solution to get it to work.

In HTML it should in theory be easier to get right click.
