Pdf's take ages to fully appear on my pc.
I'm using 10.1.3.23, and firefox 14.
The pc is crazy fast on CPU and drive side, but doesn't have graphics drivers installed - not sure if that could be an issue? Www connection also very fast.
The blue bar when opening (or is it downloading?) goes across from left to right AOK, and at a fine speed - but when it gets to 100% then it sits for a minute or so doing nothing but displaying the full blue bar, then finally displays the pdf.
Hopefully someone can help.
OS is Win7 Ultimate 64bit, patches up to date
I just tried your link on an old Windows XP system using Firefox 14.0.1 and it loaded and displayed within less than 2 seconds.
I will try tomorrow at home on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit system.
What web browser did you use?
P.S. what did you mean in your original post "doesn't have graphics drivers installed"? What is your display adapter, device driver version & date? (See http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765)
I'm using Firefox 14.0.1.
I don't have ATI or Nvidia graphics drivers installed (as the machine is made for number crunching and I'm still waiting for the graphics card it will receive to be released). For now it is displaying using an old ATI 1800 running the microsoft drivers built into win 7. The reason I noted this was because I had read a while ago that GPU could be used for formatting so was trying to provide all information.
Just tried your link on my Windows 7 x64 system, on both Waterfox 14.0.1 and IE9 (32-bit & 64-bit); the PDF downloads and displays instantly.
Could it at the end have to do with the GPU? Difficult to say; your PDF is quite small (2 pages) and does not have large, complex images.
How do other PDF docs behave, e.g. http://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_Rel easeNote_10.1.3.pdf ?
