How many pts in an inch?

I'm trying to figure out the height of my line segment. It has a 1.5 stroke point. How many inches is that?

NM I figured it out have to go to preferences -> units, then you can change the stroke unit to whatever you like. This will allow you to see how many pts in an inch which is .0208.

1 inch = 72 points, 1 point = 1/72 ~ 0.013888... inch.

1.5 point 00 1.5/72 ~ 0.0208 inch.

Also to find out how many points in a inch or any other unit, in the stroke box just type 1 followed by the name of the unit or its abbreviation.
