http://wiki.zebrazapps.com/mediawiki/index.php/Embedding_an_App_in_Cap tivate

and I see that there is  a session at Devlearn. I wont be attending as i live in Australia :-(

"Best of Two Worlds: Integrating ZebraZapps Interactions in Captivate"

Joseph Ganci, eLearning Joe and Lieve Weymeis, KaHo Sint-Lieven

I just wanted to know what the advantages were and whether anyone was using them ?

I don't think the functionality is available yet...it will be in the future Pro release so there is no way to test it, yet. I am referring to the actual option to publish to captivate. There may be other ways to do it.

One thing I was put off by with ZebraZapps is that there is no way to "export" the animation. It has to always link back to their server. This means that anything you would use it in would need Internet access. I know the assumption today is that everyone has Internet access all the time but I don't want to depend on it for my apps if I don't have too.

I signed up for a two day seminar (1 hour / day) for ZebraZapps a few weeks ago and I asked about the export information there and that's what they told me.

Yes, you need the Webpage widget from Jim to integrate ZebraZapps animations in a Captivate project. Works well in version CP5.5 with the restriction that the animation has indeed to be on the server. Hoping that Jim will upgrade the widget for CP6, which is not yet the case.
