flash drive printing of adobe on win7 computer

using a flash drive with adobe files and printing from a windows7 OS computer, i request a 1 to 2 page document but what prints out is 6 to 15 blank pages with only unreadable characters on about the top two lines of page? Same flach drive adobe files print OK on a Windows XP machine.

    We know of no generic problem associated with PDF files residing on flash drives. I just tried printing a PDF file residing on a flash drive from my Windows 7 system without any problem whatsoever.

     

    What happens if you copy the file to the system's hard disk drive first and then open it and try to print?

     

    And by the way, by Adobe files we assume you mean PDF files. There are many different types of Adobe files!
