Dear All,
in a customer implementation we do face the problem that flash files larger than 100kB are not loaded complettly. the file should be for instance 183kb und the IE recieves only 124 kB so the Flex application can not run properly. the problem only occurs in IE via https... Any Idea how to trace this or what’s the root for this?
Thanks a lot for any hint!!
Regards
Frank
good questions and thanks a lot getting back ... We are trace via httpWatch and the Flash trace... Depending on which swf file is truncated, get see different behaviors.
For Example we get a #2036 exception in case we load a file when running the application for a while. In case will load our core application file we do not get a Flash exception or anything else in the browser. We just see I the httpWatch trace a received file size less than the expected size of the swf.
We got in touch with Microsoft support and we created traces for the IE via STRACE. Would it be helpful to get this traces?
Here's something new and maybe something familiar ...
The server at the customer in question is using, based on the header information the following encoding:
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Any experience with this setting?
I found some other forum entries that indicate a problem in this context (Loading larger swf files via https)
