I recently bought the new Macbook Pro with Retina Display along with Deisgn & Web Premium. Everything installed and worked correctly apart from Dreamweaver. When I try to launch it an error pops up saying "You can't open the application "Adobe Dreamweaver CS6" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported". Obviously none of the CS6 apps are PowerPC versions, so what's the problem? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work and have posted a similar duscussion of Apple's support forum but have had no replies in over a day.

Did you receive any errors when installing Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium? You may want to run the Adobe Support Advisor to review your installation logs automatically. You can locate the Adobe Support Advisor at http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/.
Alternately you can manually review the installation logs by following the steps listed at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5 -cs5.html.
Thanks for you reply. The Support Advisor said there was nothing wrong with the installation and looking at the logs manually it said there were 0 errors.
I installed it from the DVD using OS X's Remote Disc feature since the Retina Macbook Pro doesn't come with a DVD drive.
That should be ok but you could also try copying the install files locally in case there was any type of network failure during the install process. I would also recommend that you continue with manually reviewing your installation logs using the directions given in message #1.
