Sitemap - Page Updates

Afternoon All,

 

Hope everyone is having better weather then we are in the UK today.

 

We have added a sitemap to the webpage and since added lots of pages. Am i right to believe that each time I add a page I have to add the sitemap manually to the sitemaps page?

 

If this is not the case then my question is:

 

My sitemap on the sitemap page does not update automatically when I add a new page, can somebody shed some light on this for me?

    Hi Asad,

     

    If using the site map module via site settings -> site map and you've added to a page you'll need to insert a fresh copy each time you add new pages within the site. 

     

    The other site map that is available to you is the sitemap.xml which is enable once you enable SEO for the site. This will update automatically whenever pages are added that you can use to submit to any major search engine. "yoursite.com/sitemap.xml"

     

    You can enable this via "yoursite.com/AdminConsole/#!/Utilities/SEO.aspx"
