Please try uninstalling the trial of Muse and reinstalling through the Adobe Application Manager
The uninstaller should be listed
on Mac OS
1. Double-click your hard drive.
2. Go to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
on Windows
1. Click Start > Control Panel.
2. Click Programs and Features.
To reinstall Launch Adobe Application Manager from
Applications Folder on Mac or the Start Menu on Windows.

I have tried that and get the same message. I tried removing with creative suite cleaner tool and windows uninstall . Have removed and installed several times with no luck. Talked to help on phone and changed name of caps folder in program files , but still get same message.They were to get back to me , but haven't heard anything yet.
