Hi All,

Within a project, I would like the user to be able to click on a button and have an swf video appear and play in the same window.  Is this possible in Captivate 6.0?  Could someone point me in the right direct on how to accomplish this?  I'm new to Captivate so I apologize if this is a remedial question.

Thank you!

Leigh

Hello Leigh,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Playing the .swf on the new window (On a button click) is possible by these steps :

1) Insert a button (Insert -> Standard Objects -> Button) on your slide

2) On Button Properties , under On Success (Action) -> Choose "Open URL or File"

3) Select your .swf (Browser your computer)

Note : Opening .swf on the same window will run the new .swf

Thanks,

Vikram
