Suddenly, the PDF is not printing center. It's printing off to the side.
It was working perfectly last week. This week the printout is cutting off on the left side.
Acrobat Pro 9.5.1
I'm using page scaling: "Fit to Printable Area"
Auto Rotate and center is checked.
I tried trashing preferences. Still doesn't print correctly.
This happened a few years ago when I had an earlier version of the Acrobat. When I upgraded, everything worked again.
The only way I can reduce to fit and print now is if I use Preview. When I use Preview it works fine.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm not ready to upgrade yet.
Does this happen when printing from other applications? What Macintosh operating system?
Acrobat 9 is not the latest version and won't be upgraded. Try downloading free Adobe Reader X and see if happens there.
My Mac system is 10.6.8.
I just tried printing in CS4 InDesign and it printed fine.
It just doesn't print in Acrobat.
I'll download the Acrobat Reader and let you know what happens.
I downloaded Adobe Reader X and it printed correctly!
So it seems as though my Acrobat 9 is the problem.
Should I reinstall the application? If so, do I need to uninstall, then reinstall?
Thanks for your help!
I uninstalled from the uninstaller in the Acrobat folder, and reinstalled using the disks and everything is printing correctly again in Acrobat. When I opened the new application, it suggested the PDF printing should be repaired, which I clicked. So I guess it was damaged before.
Thanks again for your help!
