Hi,
My situation is I live out in the country, and while filming, the insects make extremely loud noise. Kind of like crickets but much, much louder. I tried the Denoiser Effect but that really doen't even put a dent in it. So I'm just trying to figure out what I can do for all these shots.
Denoiser is to remove analog tape "hiss."
I would take a look at this ARTICLE, for some possible suggestions.
Audio noise removal is tough, and success depends on two things: the frequencies of the noise, and what part of the Audio Stream you wish to retain.
Good luck,

Again, depending on the offending frequencies, and those that you wish to preserve, see ComputerNovice's Reply in this THREAD.
Good luck,
