error code ( 39 :: 0 ) says Quicktime is not installed or too old, but mine is up to date. Error = unable to import PSD into AE with full video footage, only 4 frames looped is what happens when I play the files. Any help would be great! Thanks

I imported the files as file>selected the PSD file containing all layers>Import Kind: Composition - retain layer sizes> layer options: Editable layer styles. After I hit ok it gives me error saying something is wrong with the psd document "..." "Quicktime is not installed or is too old of a version. ( 39 :: 0 )
What I was doing in photoshop was I imported a video file into photoshop and created two additional blank video layers that I painted on over the original footage. I did not alter the original footage, only created two animated layers which I placed on top of the original footage layer. So that I was not repeatedly drawing the animations, I duplicated each frame as I painted on it. The layers performed fine when I played back the timeline in photoshop, but once I tried to import the PSD into after effects I got the error above. Also, as I progressed in the painting I saved the files as "Tear_01", "Tear_02", "Tear_03", etc... but I noticed that when I received the error trying to import PSD "Tear_04" the error was saying it was having trouble with "Tear_02"? This was odd to me since I was not trying to import that file. I'm wondering if it has to do with the fact that I was duplicating frames as I animated the video layers...did it save those frames from the previous files?
The problem is the video embedded in the Photoshop file. That's not a supported feature yet. Try removing the video layer from your Photoshop file and keep only go the painted layers you made. It should work.
I already tried that, but it seems to continue trying to find the previous files that contain the video. I deleted the video layer, kept the two animated layers, saved as a new file name, and when I import it into AE it still adds the broken video clip of the original footage with my two animated layers. I don't understand how that happens when the video clip isn't even in the file anymore??
