DW CS6 for OS X: Copy and Paste HTML

I'm in the process of converting to a Mac, and have been stymied by the following issue.

When pasting a URL in Design View from an email or webpage, the underlying link disappears, turning my link into plain text.

For example, this:

Dreamweaver Help | What's new in CS6

becomes this:

Dreamweaver Help | What's new in CS6

I get a lot of emails with updates to websites I maintain, so having to manually copy URLs and recode them in the Properties window increases my workload by an enormous amount.

I can't figure out if this is a Mac issue (copying URLs from Safari to Mail works fine) or a Dreamweaver issue, or some combination thereof. Anyone have any ideas how I can get this to work how I need it to?

Mac OS X (Lion) and DW CS6.

(P.S. I need to do this in Design View, because I am often working with large quantities of already-formatted text with URLs embedded. Having to re-create the wheel and re-type is not part of my workflow!)

Interesting because no such problems in Windows System.  Could you check your preferences to see if they look like this (click on the image to get a bigger one):

If your settings isn't like mine then perhaps changing it might solve the problem.

Good luck and post back with any feedback.
