Printing Insertion Marks

Jul 31, 2012 8:09 AM

When I insert text in the pdf, the insertion mark is blue. When I print the pdf, the insertion marks have all turned a light yellow and are impossible to see. What do I need to do to change the color of the insertion marks for printing?

Sorry but this is a known bug with the Acrobat X Family.

The text insert placeholder will color-invert if printed or flattened, so the default dark blue icon becomes yellow. One vague workaround, though it's a hack, would be to change the color of the annotations to yellow before printing - they would then invert back to blue on paper, but the crossout on the text itself would remain yellow.

Annotation colors can be changed via their Properties dialog, or though scripting.
