Altering the "Please fill out the following form" banner text

Jul 31, 2012 9:39 PM

I have designed a form for electronic distribution. I want to make it clear to the recipients that they need to download the form to their desktop BEFORE filling it in. This will [hopefully] resolve problems with browsers.

Can I overstrike the "Please fill out the following form" banner text? If so, does anyone know how?

The Document Message Bar is fixed - for security reasons you cannot change the text or disable the bar.

The banner can be disabled, Preferences > Forms > and tick 'Always hide forms document message bar.

I dont think it can be modifiied.

You can add a "download" button to the form, so when they click on it

it will display the 'save as' dialog box, I'm not sure if you can write a javascript to prompt

the user upon opening the file
