    We have client's that have created redactions in Arobat 9.5, and we just upgraded to Arobat X. The client is asking how to remove those reactions from a .pdf that were created using version 9.5, is that possible and if so, what are the directions? We are IT Analyst supporting many Adobe Acrobat Pro users, and we have very little Adobe Acrobat training or experience.

    Redactions, once applied, are permanent and irrevocable. The underlying stuff is gone.

    The only way is to go back to the original document that created the redacted PDF. Or find a copy of the PDF that was not redacted.
