Debugging transformations in Context3D drawTriangles

Aug 1, 2012 9:11 AM

Hi there,

I'm currently doing experimenting with some transformations in the Context3D with Flash 11 and I'm coming up with a blank screen. Obviously my math has been screwed up somewhere, but I'm unsure where it might be, whether it's in the model, the view or the projection matrix. (Or maybe the vertex data?) What I'm wondering is there a way to debug through the mathematical transformations that occur when you call drawTriangles? Something like PIX that MIcrosoft provides would be AWESOME (but I highly doubt that exists), so I'd be happy with some debugging structure I could fill with intermediate transform data, or just simply "at this point trace that the vertex coordinates" are at would help me greatly. Is anything like that possible?

Thanks.
