after i upgrade my os to mountain lion i can't launch illustrator as well as adobe edge, please help..
Hi Jmna_dp,
Might try deleting the user preferences for the programs giving you difficulties after the upgrade and test to see if the behavior still happens in a new administrative account

Hi David__B.
Thanks for the fast response.
Deleting the preferences in the same user I had already do it and didn't worked.
But I created a new user and worked perfectly.
But now I have all my things, like favourites, shortcuts, etc on the other account.
Do you suggest importing all things to this account and run Adobe Creative Cloud from the new account, or there is another way to use the other account?
Thank, you:
Jmna_dp
Thanks for the update Jmna_dp
If it works with the new user account then maybe the underlying cause is that something happened to the user permissions of your original account when upgrading the OS. If it were me, I would just transfer everything from the old account over to a new one (Desktop, Documents, Pictures, etc).
We have this document that discusses some things to try if an issue is user account specific. Might also be worth looking over and offer some good suggestions/solutions.

Hi David__B.
I tried all solutions and none of them worked, so i followed your suggestion and just exported Safari bookmarks (Safari > File > Export Bookmarks) then imported in the new user (Safari > File > Import Bookmarks), and dragged and copied the main directories like downloads, pictures, etc, into the new user folder.
I think actually is better this way because is like performing a new install, everything gets more organized.
I even changed the short user name tho the previously one
I followed this tutorial for anyone who is interested:

So every thing works now.
Thank you one more time.

Hi David__B.
Another update:
I removed the preferences of the User/Library/Preferences.
And now:
Fireworks doesn't work.
Dreamweaver doesn't work.
Illustrator works.
inDesign works.
Photoshop works.
Muse works.
I did the Dreamweaver update and Illustrator stopped working.
I deleted the preferences again and:
Fireworks doesn't work.
Dreamweaver doesn't work.
Illustrator works.
inDesign works.
Photoshop works.
Muse works.
Like before.
Any more ideas to fix this?
Thank you:

Wow, sorry to hear about so many problems ![]()
I wondered if running the disk permissions repair might be a good thing to try at this point, if it finds and repairs things you might need to run it more than once just to ensure they got fixed.
Found this doc if it helps

Also curious if your difficulties extended beyond Adobe products, have you noticed any issues with other programs you use frequently?

Hi David__B!
I tried that yesterday and didnt work either.
Only Adobe Creative Cloud is crashing.
But I created a new admin user again and I got it working again.
Maybe Adobe launches an update to fix this incompatibility with Mountain Lion.
I also made some experiments by removing some fonts and noticed that
removing Adobe Devanagari seemed to make Dreamweaver ok. But Fireworks
was still crashing.
Thank you:

I had a similar issue. Its related to Creative cloud licensing. There is an issue that causes some apps to be licensed while others do not accept the licensing. Call adobe. I had a tech person walk me through the steps. As soon as I deactivated, trashed preferences, and reactivated it worked.
