Hey everyone,
Since my drawing skills are rather limited I was wondering if anyone out there would know of a, preferably free, service that would trace or draw an image and convert it to a 2 colour file for me. I have to draw 2 pieces of licorice for a corrugate job I'm working on and am not good with shading etc. I've included a screen cap of what I need to draw.
I'm trying to avoid screens but I do have the option of creating a 2nd Red with screen in order to achieve the best result.
Therefore, to be clear, this needs to be made up of 2 reds of the same PMS value with one printing as solid and the other as screen.
Thanks a bunch,
Jeff
What I mean by 2 colours is that all the solid would be made up on 1 plate of PMS red and all the screen would go on a second hit of PMS red. My printer would have to do it this way because if he wants to put presure on the red he can do it independantly of the other red. If it's only one plate the screen will fill in.

So silk screened then? Otherwise there would be no double hit of the same color on any press. It's all one plate.
