    It's very annoying that this useful feature will not work as its name indicates.

    For this reason you can not create styles Stroke shift path in one direction. According to me it's silly that you can not create unbalanced line as a graphic style.

    Or change its name does not "offset path" should now be called "Outline path"

     

    Please think about this.

    Huh?

     

    Perhaps you simply need to uncheck "New Art Has Basic Appearance" in the Appearance Panel menu?

     

    I really don't understand what you are going on about though.
