Hi,
Is it possible to simply duplicate a folio and save as with a new name? This would be very helpful for revision cycles with my client. For example, I recently reviewed a v4 version of the folio with the client and I am now making revisions that will be the v5 version. I'd like to keep the v4 in tact so that they can continue to see it in its current state.
I have many articles in the v4 folio, each with metadata assigned so there are several reasons why I don't want to recreate the v5 from scratch. I'm looking into the xmp sidecar approach to see if this can help streamline that side of things.
Any insight into this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Josh
You definitely want to use the sidecar.xml approach and the import multiple articles method. I was doing this all day today and it was a lifesaver!
Bob's article on how to structure your folio is invaluable: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS67cb9e293e2f1f6060 6c7754128c7a9c00e-7fff.html
Johannes's sidecar generator website is awesome: http://projects.nordsueddesign.de/sidecarxml/
