Hi,
I've created a .fla document and I want to export to video to post on YouTube. Quicktime .mov is extremely slow for some reason. Does anyone know the best way to export to video for small file sizes but retaining the vector graphics? Is it possible to export to .flv (from .fla)?
Regards,
Andrew
If you can export the .fla to .swf, try using FLABACO (www.Flash-Banner-Converter.com). It's a free, online converter which converts Flash (SWF) to video. It maintains vector graphics, maintains frame rates and generates professional quality video.

Hi kayumarz,
Thanks for your reply. What you suggested works really great, when converting from .swf to video, but one problem is that it cuts the video short, as described in http://www.flash-banner-converter.com/blog/faq/timeline-was-missing/
Is there a version of this converter or a similar converter that doesn't cut the video short?
Cheers,
Andrew
@newnoviceuser Without a timeline, Flabaco doesn't know the length of the content and arbitarily converts just the first 12 seconds.
Future versions of Flabaco will let the user define the number of seconds/frames to convert but as of now, such a sitution requires manual intervention by the site admin.
If you can email the .swf file (or a link) to swf-to-video@flash-banner-converter.com I'll do the needful and send you a link to the converted video.

Hello newnoviceuser,
It's true that the output quality from Adobe Flash really sucks, so it's recommended to use a third swf to video converter from moyea:
