Hello all,
Working on some logo treatments and using the extrution option in Ray Trace and for some strange reason two parts of my 5 part logo vanish after I create shapes from vector. I have changed the extrude on them to see if they would appear again and that does not work. I have a light present and I can see the otherparts of my logo just fine. Very strange
Has anyone experienced this problem?

I received the logo as one layer in Photoshop so I brought it into AI and created individual vector shapes based on my future plans with it. I have not tried to redo this process yet. After Effects does create the proper number of paths. The image I made the vector shapes from was flat and there were no effects associated with the logo.
I am thinking I might just need to go back and recreate the vector shapes again in AI. Since there are only 5 pieces to the logo I could try creating 5 seprate AI files and test the reaction in AE.
I have each element on their own layer. That is how I was able to bring it into AE easily with seperate layers. I will go back and recreate the vector pieces in AI. I can then bring it back into AE and just replace what I am using with the new version. Love the replace option in AE 
I have another question but will make a new thread about it..
Any other ideas are helpful but I think I might just go back and try to make vector shapes again. If that does not work I will change up my game plan in AE.
