To my knowledge, and I could be wrong, the only OSs that CFServer can run on are Windows and Mac.  Now I know that Mac is just a graphic overlay to a FreeBSD (or similar) OS, but I've tried finding a version that will run on Ubuntu, and (from what I've been able to discern via Google) there aren't any.  Nor can you install Adobe CS5 or earlier.  Keep in mind, this research was about a year ago, so things may have changed.

It took me about 10 sec to google "ColdFusion supported operating systems", and this was the first match:

    http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion-standard/tech-specs.html

    That's what your want, yes?

Don't know about the OP, but I'm glad to see CF10 will run under Ubuntu.  Now if we can just get a version of DW to run under *nix.
