Strange Microphone Speaker Problem

When I start recording in Audition, suddenly I can hear my voice and all other sounds COMING OUT OF THE SPEAKER.

What's going on?

Well, I'm pretty sure that you haven't got a Dell!

If you're using an internal sound device, check your Windows Mixer settings - that'll be where it's got routed, almost certainly.
