Publishing Suite in Creative Cloud

Hi, I am trying to find out 2 things about the Creative Cloud and forthcoming DPS capabilities, so I hope this is the best place to ask rather than the Digital Publishing Suite forum, my apologies if not.

- Firstly, how many 'single editions' will we be able publish? Just one? One a year? One a month? As many as we like?

- Secondly, I am assuming that if I take out a month by month plan, and then for any reason cancel my subscription, my publication will still be avaliable from the app/android store? Would I be right in thinking this?

Thanks in advance

    Hi Gec78,

I'm not sure so am moving your question over to the Digital Publishing Suite forum.

    1) Yes, you'll be able to publish as many as you like.

    2) Yes, it'll stay in the store. Since it's a completely self-contained stand-alone application, it'll still be available if you cancel your Creative Cloud membership.

Unfortunately I can't share dates for when it will be available. If you buy a copy of DPS Single Edition I don't believe you would be eligible for a refund once the Creative Cloud support is released.

DPS SE apps will be added to Creative Cloud in the next 6 weeks or so.

I can’t give you an exact date but you only have one week left to save 40% on the first year of Creative Cloud.

At $360 for the year, you get all the software at less than the cost of one single edition app. It's a no-brainer.

It seems that not everybody at Adobe knows the deal with SE on Creative Cloud - I really want to beleive you guys, but for the sake of argument (and since SE for Cloud isn't released yet) I thought I'd paste a back-in-forth I had recdntly with an Adobe Account Development Manager.  Please see below (I've hidden the names and numbers to protect the innocent)  By the way I think he is mistaken because I plan on purchacing Adobe Stock if you guys turn out to be the correct.  --I'm rooting for you.

The only thing I could find about DPS and the cloud is here http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/publish-anywhere.html. You can find FAQs about DPS here http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-publishing-suite-single/faq.html. I shared your link with the DPS sales team and they hadn’t heard anything about unlimited apps.  I could be wrong, but everything I’ve read has said unlimited downloads for Cloud subscribers, but not unlimited apps.

I can’t really see the company providing unlimited app creation for $50/month, it’s not a very sustainable model.

    ####,

Thanks again for all your help.  However I’m still finding contradicting answers in adobe forums from staff members about multiple single-edition app creation for creative cloud subscribers.

Please see the Q&A forum below:

    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4671137

Not that I doubt your info but, who’s correct?

Unlimited DPS SE apps will be added to Creative Cloud subscriptions within the next few weeks.

And for anyone on CS3 or later the price for Creative Cloud for the first year is $29.99/month.
