Interactive presentation on Ipad (web/digital publishing?)

I currently have to re-design a flash presentation as it doesnt work on the ipad.

Its pretty simple with simple navigation, slides, video and some swfs I will convert into AVi.

 

My question is what is the best software/tools to use for the job?

 

I am considering digital publishing in indesign or HTML 5 and would appreciate some advice as to what others would use. 

 

I have creative cloud subscription, but looking into it more do I need to pay more for Digital Publishing Suite or can I just do a web version?  I dont need an app or anything, just something that runs on the ipad, mac/pc, ideally option for offline also.

 

Below are the requirements

• Design and setup a interactive presentation (touch, slide screen)
• Compatible with ipad/mobile devices online and offline.

• Navigation that works well with touch-screen on ipad, smart phones mac/pc etc

 

Preferred additions
Android tablet devices

 

Please advise

    I have a similar query... I have a sales presenter that's always been in print that my client now wants on an iPad for their reps. 30 pages 4 times a year.
    I want to create it in Indesign.

    Does it have to be an app to get any kind of interactivity?
    If I do make an app and publish it through DPS - how do the 10 reps access it?
    Do they need an internet connection to access it?

     

    I've view many tutorials on Adobe and Lynda.com but they all seem to be set up for magazines and not small business-to-business jobs like this, and I'm struggling to find an answer on this.

    Does anyone know how to create this layering type effect in InDesign? I am sure it is something simple but I just cant seem to get it right

    Hi Ryan,

     

    You need to use transparency and blend modes. If you need more assistance, you might consider creating a new thread (since this one is on interactive publishing).

     

    You may also want to look at some video tutorials on Lynda.com (aff link w/ a 7-day free trial).

    Hi Billy

    You can try Kvisoft digital publishing software, it meets most of your needs, You can design and set the Navigation button by yourself, and you can also view the output files on iPad / iPhone and android devices online, but it doesn't support view offline.
