Problem Opening PDF

Whenever I open a PDF file my computer monitor goes blank for a second and then when it comes back on the picture is magnified and the colors are skewed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that did not fix the problem. So I tried your repair Adobe and that did not work. My school uses Adobe and I need it to work for me so I can do my assignments. Please contact me asap. What version of Reader are you using under what OS?

I am using the latest version of Adobe Reader and I have a new computer
with Windows 7

Try to see if there is any video acceration you can turn off. You can also see if there is a more recent video driver. I know it is a new computer, but they don't always have the most up to date video drivers.
