Exchange Panel won't unpack

Aug 2, 2012 8:01 AM

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit OS.  After downloading the Exchange Panel file I try to unpack it.  However, it will not do so.  It says I do not have the appropriate program on my computer to do so.  Please help.

You need to have Adobe Extension Manager 6.0.1 installed on your machine. If you have the latest CS6 suite, Extension Manager should have been installed by default.

    Hi Steve,

I verified on Windows 7 64-bit OS with latest Extension Manager version - 6.0.1.26. I haven't seen any issues, downloading the Exchange Panel will automatically install in Extension Manager.

Could you please try to uninstall and install Extension Manager.

    Hi Steve,

Which products( such as Dreamweaver, Phostoshop, ... ) were installed on your machine? What are their version number? Did you see any product was listed on the left panel in Extension Manager's GUI? One thing you should know is, Extension Manger CS6 only manages CS6 products( such as Dreamweaver 12, Photoshop13,  ... ). It cannot manage CS5.5 products( such as Dreamweaver 11.5, Photoshop 12.1, ... ) or CS5 products.
