On opening Lightroom 4.1 it appears to have reverted back to how it was a few months and so I lost all of the images I was working on. On reimporting them back into Lightroom, this was performed quickly as if perhaps they were remembered, however all ratings and edits remained lost. Do you know if it is possible to recover these?

This doesn't mean that much to me, I don't know too much about Lightroom but on previously closing and reopening it would open with how I previously left it, if you could provide some further insight as to how I might find a more up to date catalogue that would be useful, thanks
yes thank you for your quick response, that's saved me quite a bit of work which can now be spent diving as I am on holiday trying to get this finished :-D
