Acrobat Pro Not Displaying

Hello All

 

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Lately I am unable to open 2 PDFs at the same time in Pro. This I can somewhat deal with. Today, however I am working with the forms editor and my document will not display. The program launches and everything works normally I just get a blank dark grey screen instead of the document. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Have you tried repairing your installation? Help > Repair Acrobat Installation

    I had not Lori but just tried and no luck. Thank you for the suggestion. It's a very weird issue. Acrobat acts as if nothing is wrong. Shows fields in the document on the left I can even randomly click the dark grey screen and it will show selected fields as active. I just cannot see the document. May just have to do a complete reinstall.

    Do you have “Show large images” checked under Edit > Preferences > Page Display?

    What version are you using (including subversion). If you have not updated, you might try that first. Usually trying the repair and the updates are the first steps. Also, did something else get installed around the time it started happening?

     

    You mention forms, so are you looking at the form in Acrobat or Designer?

    I am running 9.5.1 and yes. My IT department switched us from Novell Groupwise to Microsoft Office. I too thought that may have played a roll in this. I can open one doc at a time with no problems.... two docs at one time or trying to access the form editor I get the error.
