compressing files

I am unable to select and compress more than one file. Although I select all, when I right click and go to combine files, only the first or last file is included. This worked fine before a program update this morning.

What software do you use? Adobe Reader can't compress files.

Good morning

I am using Adobe Reader X, just purchased and working fine until yesterday
morning when I accepted an update.
