Trial serial # needed?

I downloaded a trial version of Acrobat 8 Pro. When I launch the software I am prompted to either enter a serial # or link to the web to buy the software. How do I configure the app so it is a working 30 day trial?

Adobe does not offer older versions of software for trial, and Acrobat 8 is fairly old now.

Download a free trial version of the latest version of acrobat from the Adobe website: http://www.adobe.com/go/tryacrobatpro/
You do not need a serial number to try out the software.
