I have looked around the forum and the answer seems to be "No", but I want to make sure I didn't miss something before submitting a feature request.
In FCP I can save customized transitions to a Favorites folder, change their names, and adjust their durations and settings. This is really useful since there are certain transitions that I use repeatedly.
Can I do any of that in PP?? I know I can save Effects as Presets, though that doesn't work for Transitions. Even if I can only adjust the default length for each transition, that would be great too. (I know I can set a general preference for all video transitions or all audio transitions, but I'm talking about different defaults for different transitions.)
Thanks...
You can do what I do in the meantime...
I have a few transitions that I like to use. They just don't use the default settings. I created a new project with a sequence where there are clips using the transitions. I import that sequence into almost every project I create. Because, as you are probably aware, you can copy a transition and paste it at the CTI. Just have the sequence open and you can always click over to the imported timeline, copy the transition and paste it into the new sequence you are currently working on. If you plan it correctly, you can just paste, and paste and paste to your heart's content.
