Would this be the only file i need in order to finalize everything in Final Cut, or should i also have the raw files separately?

THe EDL will point at the original source files and re create (conform) your project in Final Cut.

BUT...Why would you go to all this trouble and not CC in Premiere Pro?

Alsi ...Sounds to me like you wish to have one file and CC that. Why?

Do you not need to CC clip by clip?

Slightly tricky situation, - I have 2 different people working on a project. The editor is using Premier (who also did color balance/brightness clip by clip) - and a different person who is doing CC over the whole video who works in Final Cut - He asked for a master file, which in my understanding supposed to be one file.

Is it possible as one file, or do i need to have the EDL + raw files from the Premier work folder with it?

Export it as ProResHQ if you can. You need to have Final Cut installed I believe to do so.

Also, I'd check with the colourist about the colour balance/brightness that the editor is applying clip by clip. If it was me doing the colour grade, I'd want it to be as clean and close to the original as possible, not pre graded.

Either would work. (OP could export both)

EDL would be more basic approach to getting at the source files for clip by clip fx..
