What is the most efficient way to manage and migrate my Indesign workspace and other preferences while working on different computers in the Cloud?
My home computer has Indesign CS6 installed and I’m about to customize my preferences and workspaces in the app. If I use my Cloud subscription at my workplace, how do access those same preferences at my workplace? Do I have to manually transfer my user prefs from my library, or is there some Cloud magic to help me out?
Even when working with a cloud subscription, the applications, prefs, workspaces, etc are all installed locally on the computer you are using. Copy your prefs and workspaces on a flash drive or CD, or put them in dropbox folder or similar so you can copy them onto the new system.
Yes, I understand that. I was hoping to be able to upload my prefs to my Cloud storage (or that it could auto-backup to the Cloud) so that I don't have to carry prefs on stick. I tried uploading a folder of prefs but it didn't work. Can only upload individual files. Not convenient.
