I am trying to install the latest flash player 11 on the latest firefox. get.adobe.com/flashplayer takes me to the download page for the add-on or plug-in (whatever firefox brands it as) but when the installation is complete Internet Explorer comes up with the "success" page showing flash animation. If I copy this address and paste it into Firefox I don't see any Flash animation. Furthermore I cannot watch YouTube videos or any other videos in Firefox (maybe Vimeo?)
What can I do to remedy this situation?
Please try using the installer located here:

I've got a temporary fix which I found doing a websearch on the topic of Firefox not loading YouTube. I ended up downgrading Flash Player from 11.3 to 10.3 and that seems to work. I think the culprit might be because I have Real Player installed on my machine and the suggestion was to uninstall it or disable the Recorded/Downloader from Firefox, the latter of which I did to no effect. I will not be able to uninstall Real Player because I depend on it for my audio library, or at least a part of my audio library.
