hmm, i have windows 7 home premium 64-bit and a video card that supports full h.264 video decoding needed for flash video decoding which is AMD Radeon HD 4550 just like your NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 which also supports full h.264 video decoding. I've been having problems on both IE and Firefox with choppy/laggy video playback (audio is fine though) for flash player (this started for me with flash player versions 11.2 and higher). Did you make sure you're using the latest stable version of Flash on the website (11.3.300.268)?

Now flash works with IE. First i removed flash, chrome, intalled firefox, flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and youtube ect was choppy/laggy, i instaalled IE, again visited http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and it works.

But with chrome video stops at 11sec and no sound.

ie 9.08

ff 14.0.1

chrome 21.0.11

And i like to use only chrome but seems that i cannot get older flash versions to work with it which is most fustrating cause all worked just fine before Aug 4.2012.

just make sure you get the latest version of flash. There's two flash installers one for Internet Explorer (or activex) and One for Other Browsers(Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.) (latest version:11.3.300.268 for both). Chrome doesn't normally allow you by default to install the flash player separately because the flash player plugin is built-in for Chrome (latest version is 11.3.300.265 for Chrome), and go under tools menu on Chrome  of course to see if your chrome browser is up to date to get the latest Chrome flash player plug-in. If getting flash plugin for Chrome 11.3.300.265 doesn't fix the chrome problem. you can actually disable the chrome flash player plugin, and Chrome automatically uses the Flash for Other Browsers plugin.

You can select manually plugin installers for Internet Explorer And Other Browsers here:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

Here's also more info about flash plugin on chrome:

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-google-chrome.html

On Firefox, was the Flash video playback really choppy/laggy or were you referring to the audio playback being choppy/laggy?

Also, what type of motherboard model or what's the model of the PC are you using so I can look at the specs?

Chrome was updated to version 21.0.1180.75m today.

To update, please go to Chrome's tool menu and select "About Google Chrome".  Wait until the update has completed and then restart the browser.  You can verify that you are using the latest Flash Player for Chrome by going to the following URL and verifying that Flash is at 11.3.31.225.

http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Please let us know if this helps.  If you continue to have problems, please create a new bug report here: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/entry

Thanks,

Chris

If Chrome's built-in Flash plugin still doesn't work properly after updating Chrome, then disable Chrome's built-in Flash plugin, and install the Flash Plugin for Other Browsers by selecting it from:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
