SCORM wrapper for Captivate 6

Aug 2, 2012 7:36 AM

We've been using Reload Editor to wrap multiple SCOs for SCORM 1.2.  However, it doesn't recognize either SCORM 2004  or Captivate 6, and development on it apparently stopped several years ago.

Can anybody point me to a good (and easy) SCORM wrapper?

    Hi !!

Have you tried the Multi Sco Packager from ELearning Suite 6, it can wrap Zipped Projects from Captivate both in 2004 and 1.2 version.

here's a screen shot of it!

    try downloading a trial -- http://www.adobe.com/products/elearningsuite/trydvdreg.html?promoid=EH EEE

    See if this works!

    Thanks!

You may also want to take a look at Simple SCORM Packager. It allows you to package content created by any tool, not just Captivate together into one SCORM content package.

yes, Simple SCORM Packager works with any SCORM package. It does not matter if that package was created with a development tool or created by hand.

Trident does allow nesting of activities or what you are calling "expand/collapse nesting". There are some helpful getting started videos here

http://scormsoft.com/howTo "Creating a Simple Manifest in Trident" this will show you how to add multiple activities under one parent node. Basically you just need to right click the node and select add activity and you can nest as deep as you like on multiple nodes.
