making a simple video portfolio

I'm new to Dreamweaver, the last time I used it was waaay back when frames were still a thing. Anyway I'm trying to make a simple video portfolio. A column of images/buttons that when clicked play a video in a designated area of the page- see image below.

I thought it would be a pretty common set up and I'd be able to find a template or example but I'm not having any luck. Any help/suggestions? Thanks

Unless you are very good with javascript, css, and html.... I'd say "Skip that" and simply use a video player with a "Playlist". All the hard coding is done for you. There are a number of good vid players available including:
http://www.longtailvideo.com/players
http://flowplayer.org/
Just look for the feature "supports Playlists".

In addition to the video players mentioned by adninjastrator, PicklePlayer supports playlists of MP4s in multiple web devices. And you can customize the appearance with Pickle's optional skin designer.

Thanks, the JW player from Longtail seems like it will do the trick.
