Can't Open Loghtroom

Hi everyone,

 

I have Lightroom 3.4.1

 

I can't open Lightroom, it says,,,

 

Lightroon - Opening Catalog: DSCF0669.RAF.Ircat

 

I have researched this on this site and on the net in general.

 

I have extensively searched my HDD's for this file and it does not exist. I have also gone through things manually. I have no "lock" files either which was a suggestion in another post.

 

I then removed Lightroom all together from my system and installed it again and was shocked to see the same error message appear.

 

Please tell me how I can continue to use this program or is it a lost cause.
