I use CS6 (mostly FW & DW but would like to use others) to develop websites. I would like to start using (in the 'Cloud) other apps but it takes time to learn them and time is limited so which one to use???
I want to do more animation and video (using inferior tools to do some now) but would like to focus on the one best choice for all instead of having to learn all the new software.
Have used FL & PS some but am not proficient with either. Looks like I should consentrate on AE or MU perhaps??
FL & PS are both very intensive with steep learning curve. Video on AE makes it look somewhat simpler to learn and use, no??
Your thoughts please!!
Thanx in advance.
For animimation, you can try After Effects. If you're comfortable with website tools, you might also try Edge Preview for animation.
Muse is more about overall website creation for designers than animation.
Here are some good places to start learning:
--After Effects for animation: Getting Started blog post from Todd Kopriva
--Edge for HTML5 animimation: Resources page with tutorials and in-product lessons
--Premiere Pro for video: Learn Premiere Pro CS6 video tutorials on Adobe TV
If you'd like a self-study course, I also recommend these books and videos from Peachpit Press:
--Classroom in a Book series
--Learn by Video series
