download assistant error

i have downloaded the download assistant many times but i always get this message

 

 

please help

    What type of an Internet connection are you using?  Where are you choosing to download the install files too?

    The same thing is happening to me. It's taken me over 24 hours to download the CS6 Design and Web Premiuim and it's still not finished. I have 5.0mbps internet speed, I've paused it and started it several times, even canceled it completeley and restarted twice. It downloads fora couple hours then gives me that same error message. All 3 times I've downloaded (the first time and then the 2 restarts) I've chosen a different download location and I keep getting the same error message. I'm using a brand new laptop with Windows 7 on it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    You can try initiate a direct download by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.  It is likely you are facing a transient issue between your location and the Adobe server you are downloading too.  If you still have problems with the direct download option then I would recommend downloading from a different Internet connection.
