Can I collect form responses via a web service?

Does FormsCentral support collecting the form responses via web services?

I would like to use FormsCentral to create forms, and then embed those into my site.

I would then like to call a web service from my app to harvest the form results.

Thanks.

Jerry

You can embed our forms in your website but there currently isn't a way to extract the data from our service using an API.

Randy, any update on this API? My company just purchased FormsCentral and an API to pull data out would save us useless data entry.

    Hi,

What sort of things will you automate with the API?  Do you need a way of knowing when a new submission comes in?  Or will you run your solution once a day looking for new submissions?

    Thanks,

    Todd

I too would like to use a web service or API to pull responses once per day.  No need for any notificaiton.  I can poll for new responses once a day or once an hour.

    Randy,

We would use FormsCentral to collect customer feedback on a website or via email PDF attachments.  We need to have a webservice API to get the data from FormsCentral and store it with the customer's record in our line of business application.  The webservice can also make gathering responses closer to "real time" (i.e. check every hour) so that if we have feedback from a disgruntled customer - we know about it quickly and can take action.

We don't need FormsCentral to do this, but with so many options for distribution and collection coupled with the fact that it is simple enough to use, we feel this could be a very compelling add-on to our "line of business" software solution.

You mentioned you are working on an API. Do you have a timeframe?

    Thanks,

    Mike
