can I open files that was made in CS6 in older variation like CS4?

the office that i work with is working with Illustartor & photoshop CS4 and they are going to open files that i will made in CS6, can it be done easly?

    Yes, but features that are specific to newer versions aren't always preserved exactly in older versions (we try, but it isn't always possible).

    If you flatten the image, then it shouldn't be a problem.

     

    But, if you go back far enough 16 bit/channel and 32 bit/channel aren't supported, even flat.

    You may have misunderstood and you're confusing the OS mode of operation with the bit depth of image files.

     

    What you would need under that back-far-enough scenario is 8 bit files.
