Nik Software HDR Efex Pro 2

Aug 4, 2012 7:35 AM

I just installed Nik Software's HDR Efex Pro 2 as a plug-in to Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and I can't figure out what to do next. I've searched through Nik's FAQ (No help) and even attempted to contact their support but they are closed for the weekend as is Adobe's support.
I would appreciate help on how to use this program.

Vista 32 bit

Unfortunately, as Photoshop Elements does not support 32-bit per channel images, HDR Efex Pro 2 is not compatible with Elements. If you don't have a copy of Lightroom or Photoshop (the two host applications HDR Efex Pro 2 was designed to work with on Windows), you can use HDR Efex Pro 2 as a standalone by navigating to the Program Files folder and launching the application found within the Nik Software folder. Please note, if you're working with RAW files, you'll need to convert them to JPG or TIFF first, as HDR Efex Pro 2 also is not compatible with RAW files.
